It is fully wheelchair-disabled friendly, with level ground floor access, and specially widened entrance and interior doors. Wheelchair access within the gite is made easier where necessary with the use of very shallow ramps. Thoughtful touches such as accessibly positioned plug sockets and 'drive under' wash basins have proved popular with our many wheelchair-disabled guests.

Muriel.The well-appointed kitchen, combining modern units and fixtures with the traditional beams and 'feel' make this kitchen a pleasure to work in. Hopefully though, the addition of the dishwasher, microwave and washing machine means you'll have more time to spend outside the kitchen than in it! Although a French kitchen is the 'hub' of the home, and we hope you'll enjoy creating many culinary masterpieces here, don't forget to try out your bbq skills too! Especially after a hard day spent gathering delicious fresh produce from the many local markets!
All lets of a week or more include our welcome pack of fresh local goodies, including a chilled carafe of
wine to enjoy upon your arrival!
To cater for the new 'average' sized family, we've installed a lovely wooden bunk-bed as well as a single! As you can see, there's plenty of room here for the kids to play, and spread out a little. There's a wardrobe just out of view for all of their clothes too. The bedroom is heated in colder months by the wall-mounted electric radiator so you can be rest assured of a warm and cosy bedroom for your children! Being all about families here at Le Chant, we offer free of charge things like safety gates, cots (bring your own bedding), buggy, toys, toilet training stuff(!) and lots more. We've had kids so we know what it's like! Leave your worries behind when you holiday with us!

Nick, Kate & Joshua DaltonThe spacious bathroom caters for all the family, with bath/wc and basin as well as a shower over the deep bath. There's an electrically heated towel rail which gives off just the right amount of warmth to take off the chill in winter, or to ensure a lovely warm towel when you need it!
Note. As with all our gites, we supply all cleaning materials, as well as some toilet rolls to get you started etc. We ask that the gites are left clean at the end of your stay, but we don't expect you to spend your last day preparing it for the next guests, that's our job!

NEW for 2010. we've been working hard this spring and early summer to create a divine hideaway garden for Héron. Take breakfast in the 'petit coin du soleil', or relax on the decking in the evening. Watching the sunlight dance on the trees in the fields is magical. Seeing the birds in flight, and the deer grazing will make your holiday a memorable one! We hope you like what we've created, we certainly do.
