Bienvenue!
Welcome to 'Le Chant d'Oiseau', an oasis of peace in an increasingly stressful world.
Escape to the heart of the Loire Valley in France and relax a while, pamper your senses, and soothe your soul!

Here at Le Chant d'Oiseau we don't promise anything but a place to relax, unwind and cast aside the stresses of everyday life. Whether relaxing in the sun with a good read, or meandering the quiet country lanes by bike or on foot, we invite you to soak up the peace and tranquility of rural France at its most enchanting.
The grass really is greener and the skies really are bluer here in the 'Garden of France'; the 'Valley of Kings'! And with so much to see and do here, whatever your interests, it's no wonder that our well-kept secret is out!
The
western Loire valley is the perfect place to take a holiday, a short
break, or relax out of season. From quiet riverside picnics to the
stunning Grand Parc Puy du Fou and so much in between, you and your
family can have the holiday you all want. Together!
You can choose from one of our three beautiful gites, created from the ancient farm buildings collectively known as Les Chants d'Oiseaux for hundreds of years, or a pitch on our small (but perfectly formed) camping ground. We invite you to spend your time here in whatever fashion you wish, at prices you can afford without sacrifice to quality or comfort.
As a wheelchair user, Héron was ideal - plenty of space to manoeuvre - a rare thing!

Le Chant d'Oiseau is perfect for birdwatching breaks - over 70 species listed on site or just nearby.
Photography weekends, guided tours, wine. Just tell us what you want, and we'll organise it for you.
Le Chant d'Oiseau is the place to rest awhile, recharge your
batteries and unwind. Hope to see you soon!
À bientôt!

After a long days towing on unfamiliar roads in a foreign country, it's not surprising we often arrive slightly stressed. To be greeted by friendly smiles, a happy bark and a cup of tea turns your whole world around. Stu, Syb and their family are always there with a helping hand, suggestions for visits, explanations on how to get there and even hold successful social events. Put all this in the beautiful setting that is their home and we would defy anyone to say they haven't had a great holiday. They even have happy, helpful teenagers!!! And you don't get many of them to the dozen. THANK YOU.
Joy & Les.
